Quality Assurance

In addition to inspection and oversight by our own Certified Weld Inspector, ASME Code stamped pressure vessels are inspected by a third-party Authorized Inspector (AI) commissioned by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.  The AI reviews and approves documentation, material procurement, design calculations and fabrication, and witnesses integrity testing to ensure the strict ASME quality standards are met or exceeded.

ASME Pressure Vessels

Through its documented Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) defines the rigorous quality standards and processes that must be met for the approved design, material procurement, fabrication, welding, inspection and testing of pressure vessels in order to qualify as an approved ASME Coded vessel.

ASME defines a pressure vessel as a container that holds or stores gases or liquids under pressure, with a pressure difference between the inside and outside that operates at pressures above 15 psi, as opposed to operating at or near atmospheric pressure.

Only manufactures that meet or exceed all of the qualifications are issued the corresponding ASME Stamps and granted the approval to fabricate ASME Coded vessels.

This ensures customers that projects are manufactured to the highest quality and safety standards set by ASME.

WELDING

Experienced, highly skilled craftsmen

Our welders are backed by years of experience in the most demanding industries and are qualified by comprehensive in-house testing for a wide range of common and specialized welding procedures, including those defined by:

  • ASME BPVC  - American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code
  • API - American Petroleum Institute (Piping in the Oil & Gas Industry)
  • AWS - American Welding Society (all types of structural)

We also have the ability to quickly qualify additional procedures and welders in-house based on customer requirements and specifications.

We understand that no two jobs are the same and we thrive on meeting the unique needs of every project that is entrusted to us.
