NuWeld,s Port City Steel Transload Terminal (owned and operated by NuWeld, Inc.) is located at NuWeld's facility in the heart of Central PA within 300 miles of major metropolitan areas of: New York City, Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, with easy access to major roadways. It is ideally positioned to serve many major markets and industries, including the Marcellus and Utica Shale markets.
At NuWeld, we leverage rail trans-loading as a vital part of our logistics operations to streamline the transport of large-scale industrial products and materials. Our facility spans 211,000 square feet and 11 acres of lay down area with direct rail access, enabling us to efficiently receive, stage, and distribute products. To facilitate this process, we utilize a variety of heavy equipment, including a rail-side 20 ton overhead crane.
Our trans-loading capabilities ensure that even the most complex and sizable industrial materials and fabrications are transferred seamlessly, saving time and reducing costs for our customers.
Trans-loading and storage: We also offer rail-transloading for customers needing to transfer deliveries and modes of transportation for various products; as well as, short term outdoor storage in our 11 acre lay down area for various and unique rail delivery requirements.
